Dr. Maria Shapoval, ND is passionate about neurological conditions, women’s health and gastrointestinal disorders. After graduating from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), she completed a 2-yr research residency focusing on Parkinson’s disease and has presented at the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians conference on the topic of Women’s Health and Circadian Rhythms.
Dr. Shapoval, ND has additional training in neurological scalp acupuncture and is a member of the Movement Disorder Society, Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors and Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
Dr. Shapoval, ND is a faculty member at CCNM, where she instructs the clinical physiology and microbiology courses and is also a clinic supervisor at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic. Dr. Shapoval, ND actively engages in research and publication and has co-authored the neurology chapter within the Textbook for Naturopathic Family Medicine & Integrative Primary Care.
